Legacy Prep is a Pre-K - 3rd grade charter school located in West Birmingham targeting the students of that area in order to address specific needs and prepare students for future academic and personal success. Legacy focuses on innovative and applied problem solving and critical thinking skills to change lives and communities. They utilize an integrated Science, Technology, English, Arts, and Math (STEAM) curriculum, along with project-based instruction to focus on literacy instruction, personalized learning, and character education. Legacy Prep's primary goal is to help students become intellectually curious, collaborative and creative innovators, and possess a social justice mindset to solve real-world problems.
